ARCS is a narrative-driven life simulator where players swipe through monthly story scenarios to pursue career goals and manage their health, joy, and finances. Each decision branches the story and alters the player’s status, creating a dynamic, choice-based journey through various life paths. The game is designed for mobile and blends storytelling with light resource management and a smooth, Tinder-like interaction model.
Why did the client come to us - Problem
Developing ARCS is technically and creatively demanding. The game requires a fast, reactive UI for swipe mechanics, smooth animation for scenario transitions, and a scalable way to manage branching narratives and player state. Balancing performance, cross-platform delivery, and a polished visual experience while keeping the codebase manageable is a significant challenge, especially when building for both Android and iOS with high design fidelity.
